Based on emotion-behavior science and AI, Align People and Strategy analyzes how employee experiences and predicted behaviors will support or hinder the intended M&A integration strategy — and provides insight into where the strategy or execution approach may need to be reinforced or adjusted.

Driven by AI, emotion-behavior science, and M&A process intelligence, the new analysis uses existing data from three main sources:

  1. Analyzed employee experiences and predicted behaviors – including root causes, risk drivers, insights, and action recommendations from the core People Impact Analytics® analysis
  2. The company’s specific integration strategy and plans – including for example deal rationale and integration approach, plans, goals, timelines, identified risks, people due diligence findings, or other available documentation – or just freeform responses to a few simple questions
  3. Publicly available information – covering the buyer, the target company, and the M&A transaction to build a stronger strategic and organizational context

Using AI-enabled synthesis, grounded in emotion-behavior science, Align People and Strategy translates these inputs into a practical leadership view of how people dynamics are likely to influence integration execution — and what actions should be considered.

The analysis may include several complementary components, such as SWOT analysis, risk assessment, strategic persona modelling, heat mapping, and an executive summary – complemented by feedback that identifies where the integration strategy or execution approach may need reinforcement, clarification, or adjustment.

Together, these components help leadership identify alignment, gaps, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions early to protect integration momentum and long-term deal value — with the human element at the center.
